Hey im a first year going into second, and im taking Life Science H&D spec and a
psych major. the courses that i’ve chosen so far add up to 17 or so credits,
since a few of them overlap. i want to take more courses in psychology, but i
already filled up the max 7.5 credits for the psych major. can i take more
psych courses or do i have to choose other courses?
for a second, it sounded like you were trying to enroll in 17 credits this year. if this is the case, consider doing way less. so you like psychology? aska really likes psychology, especially the kind that involve mindgames that torment roommates (see bottom for info). if you want to make more psych classes than are required for your major, you can do that, they just won’t count towards your major. you could consider switching into a specialist, or you could continue as is. just remember, you’re technically here to learn, (aska is here for other, more nefarious reasons) so if you want to learn more of a specific subject that will be officially recognized, the department can’t punish you for that.
so let’s say you have a roommate. how are you going to tolerate sharing a room with some smelly jerk? by messing with them while they sleep. here’s what you do: get a flashlight and put green tissue paper over it to give the light and eerie glow. when your roommate is in deep sleep, shine the flashlight around their face, maybe ‘wooo-weee-wooo-weeee-wooo- alien sounds, and then periodically say “the aliens are coming (insert roommate’s name). do this for 10-15 minutes. by the 5th night they will be freaking out like never before.
