I have this question in mind for years, then I found your site. You know the
incidental fees that we have to pay, which include the fee to access the
athletic facility. I only step inside the build for exam purpose and have
never use their smelly gym. I have to pay more than $200 per year to fund this
service which I am not going to use. Can I get my refund?
Thanks for your time and hope you understand my question.
you hope i understand the question? well, if there’s one thing askastudents past and present all have in common, it’s laziness. so i think i understand.
unlike the health insurance money, which UTSU allocates but we can opt out of, the funds that go to maintaining the athletic facility are allocated by the administration, and these fees cannot be changed. this money isn’t going to pay for your gym membership though, it’s going to keep the facility running; think of your free gym access as a perk. as for the smelly gym? it’s more like a futuristic training ground for supersoldiers than anything else. instead of getting your refund, make the investment worthwhile by running around in there and lifting some heavy stuff. if you’re lucky, maybe i’ll let you spot me when i rock my triceps.
