How is Vic..??
I got accepted to U of T but I was really disappointed that I did not get into Trinity. I was kinda bitter because my friend who had a lower average got accepted (is it because of religious affliations or different program).. I am still kind of disappointed but as I talk more with people who know something about Vic. they say its alright. I really want to how the residency is like..
it’s because of the different stream. for example, it’s easier to get into humanities than life sciences. plus they calculate what is mysteriously known as the “composite average” here, which involves all sorts of different things: grade twelve marks, the number of oac’s, which province you’re coming from, when you were toilet trained, maybe how well you make an omlette…i don’t know.
vic is pretty. it was used as a set piece for anne of green gables (don’t ask me how i know that). it’s a big college with all kinds of people. for res info go here. it is also fatally close to a time hortons.
cheers,

i thought vic only admitted people who put it as their first choice?
ACZ
WRONG. Vic only admitted me after I provided proof that I was the first person in 4 generations NOT to get in. It didn’t hurt that my great-grandad started a fairly substantial bursary. My point behind all of this is- if you get into one college (as I did) and aren’t pleased with it, you can always switch. Just make something up and complain a lot, and they’ll switch you. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, every time.
