alcohol,  partying

you make me wanna SHOUT!

Hi. Are most students at U of T all about partying or are they more intelligent and artistically aware? or a little of both?

well now that will depend on who you ask. you’re asking me so i’ll say a little from column study, a lot from column drinky.
UofT, like most universities, is a subtle balance of both. partying isn’t a prerequisite for school but it might as be. it seems, at least with myself and everyone i know, that it’s just one of those things that has to happen. and i’m at innis, which is renowned for its intelligence and high GPA’s.
it’s a little different from high school though. university benders tend to be happy periods where people generally pollute their livers without altercation, unlike high school which always seemed to be dotted by idiot drunks ending up in cop cars and the likes.
the true key to drinking and partying at UofT is balance. HOW-TO-BE-A-HAPPY-DRUNK-WHILE-STILL-PASSING-YOUR-COURSES-AND-NOT-SPENDING-ALL-YOUR-CASH 101 should be a mandatory class for all first years. of course it’s not so you get left with the responsibility of being reasonable.
so as i said, party it up, pass your courses, and giddyup. welcome to the best 4 years of your life.
cheers,
askastudent
