i was wondering if courses are significantly more difficult in 3rd year than in second year. i’m a 2nd year student and was thinking about taking a part time job now but i would have to keep working there for at least 2 years. is third year a lot harder or will i be ok. i have a 3.1 GPA right now and i’m majoring in psychology with a minor in sociology. thank you.
well now lucky you, i too am a psych major. and i’m in third year. yah you should be able to handle it. i mean i can so i think it’s doable. you probably should try to find something flexible though for those weeks when you’re swamped with 3 tests and a couple of essays to boot. you need to be able to take time off, or at the very least, switch shifts on fairly short notice. and also, if it’s possible, you should try to limit the hours to maybe 15 or 20 hours at most. otherwise it’s gonna cut into both class and study time.
with the 3.1 and all you seem to be doing all right. just realize that classes come first and don’t let a part time job mess up your courses. school is way the hell more important.
cheers,
