hey, i am thinking of taking a year off (probably travel to another country), i think it’s called deferral. anybody knows how to do that? any papers to fill?
finally getting the hell outta dodge, eh? well, if you’re talking about deferring your acceptance, it’s relatively easy to do. write a nice letter to the kindly folks at admissions and awards, and let them know that you need just one more year of freedom before having yourself committed. (just inform them that you will be deferring your acceptance for a year…)
you may not enrol in any post-secondary courses anywhere on earth, or you will have to re-apply to come back to u of t. surprisingly enough, there is a fee attatched to this process- sixty dollars… who knew there were fees attatched to every single process, administrative or otherwise, at u of t?
here’s the address to which to write:

what happens after that one year you come back? do you choose your courses before your one year leave and then a schedule is just made for your courses for the year after?
thanks for the help
