should i stay or should i go

I am thinking of transferring out of U of T (i’m a first year student in life science) to an University with an easier undergrad science program. Is this wise to do? who would i talk to about this? my academic counselor isn’t of much help.

that would have been the only person i could suggest. maybe, you should try to talk to a counselor at the university you’re thinking of transferring to. they could maybe help you out with some comparative statistics, or give anecdotal evidence of other UofT students that transferred to their schools.
as far as wise, that’s a you call chief. i have no idea. are you gonna get better marks? is the degree what you really want? do yo want to relocate? are the costs of living lower? are you up for starting again at a new place? is it going to increase your chances of doing whatever you were here to do in the first place? will you be happier?
it’s up to you. lemme know how it turns out.
cheers,
