Hi!
I am a freshman @ American Univ. in the UAE, I want to transfer to UTm in the fall. How many credits do I need to have by the end of next semester? I am currently taking 5 3-credit courses this semester and am thinking of dropping one. Also, all my courses are general education courses : english, intro to bio, arabic heritage, intro to psychology, and math 101, will this be an issue ? :S

Hey there,
So according to UTM’s Admissions page, there isn’t necessarily a number of credits you need to take. However, there is a maximum number of courses that they’ll be willing to consider for transfer credits, that being 5.0 FCE, so you should be fine with the ones you have right now. Just make sure to keep up your good grades because that’s what the university will be judging you on.
