where can I find a job on campus for the summer? there is not much listed on the career website that appeal to me. any suggestions! thanks 🙂
Finding a job on campus can be tricky, I agree. But nothing appealed to you? Really?!? Rock Climbing Instructor was on my list. Though, I probably just radiate cool at a higher frequency.
If nothing appeals to you on the career website, then I would suggest maybe walking in and dropping off your resume to a local business. If you?re looking to build some skill and not just wait on runny-nosed children or the irritating elite of Yorkville, just go to an interview for something on the careers site that looks remotely interesting. If you don?t like it and do get the job, you can always say ?no?. An interview isn?t like a black hole with teeth that?ll crush your bones and suck all the life out of you until you?re a dry, shrivelled raisin.
Also, try the Canadian Job Bank, and keep checking that one because employers don?t realize they need anyone to work for them until the last minute. I know. Lame.
