commerce,  tuition

A mark, a yen, a buck, or a pound

Dear Aska,

I’m just wondering what the tuition for the commerce program is like… because according to this website
http://www.provost.utoronto.ca/link/students/fees08/cba.htm
it’s near 10,000$.? Which seems like a lot compared to the arts/science tuition.? Just wondering if this could possibly be true.

?

Unfortunately, because the commerce program is its own ?thing? within the university, they?re allowed to have different program fees that make their fees more expensive than anything within the arts/science realm.? If you compare it to an art class ? it?s like having to pay an extra $60 for canvases and art supplies on top of your course fees.? Only, instead of an extra $60 it?s an extra? well, a lot more.? Arts and Sciences are a bit cheaper because we?re not in a highly specific set of courses.? Also, we won?t be coming out of our university career guaranteed jobs and internships, etc.? ?So, I guess take into consideration that you?ll have more security in the end and probably an easier time paying off debts than, say, your friends with English and History majors.?? If you have any other money concerns, just click here.? No, the click won’t make anything go away or dissipate, but it will answer any other q’s you may have.
