hey i just recieved an admission to U of T, Innis college. but i’m sort of getting paranoid that i won’t be able to be in res at Innis, do u guys know what it takes?
thanx a lot for ur help 🙂
at times like these, i am reminded of the words of one of the most pre-eminent, post-modern chanteuses in recent memory:
If you got what I need I can gurarantee
To return all the love that you’ve given to me
But I need to be sure that you’ll always be around
Do you know what it takes to do me right?
Do you know what it takes to love me baby?
who remembers robyn? all of this whining was reminiscent of this equally annoying songbird from sweden…if anyone knows if she is still around, please let me know.
in your case, i’d say calm down! everyone keeps writing about the res: just chill. here’s the skinny and be sure to tell all of your friends that this is a mere general guideline:
1. to get into innis college, your grades must be a few %s higher than those admitted by the general faculty of arts and science.
2. to get into rez, your grades must be a few %s higher than that.
if you got into innis, you should be able to do basic math and i advise that you use those valuable skills to figure this one out.
if you’re on the edge of your seat, you’re welcome to call the innis residence (416 978-2512) and the nice and beautiful employees there will be more than happy to explain this to you in nicer terms that you can tell your parents and your inner demons.
cheers,
