i heard that a friend of mine got an acceptance letter to U of T with a 83 for life sciences last week. i currently have a 82.8 and i want to go to UT st. george – life sciences badly. i checked the OUAC and it says there are space still available but 85 is what they are looking for. Should i write a letter and hand in my trancript and hope they look at it and let me in? or is that useless?… what should i do? what are the chances that i wil make it?
do better than send a letter: send nudie shots! unless you are a minor….or ugly….either way, if you write a letter be careful what you say: they don’t want senseless whining but they would like to hear why your average is low and what you will be doing next year and why you really really want to come here. even though i don’t know what you’re stressing about because you can always go to scarborough. hahahahaha. if you really want to know now what your status is, contact admissions and awards and they might be able to check on your file, should one exist.
also, find out what kind of “friend” would parade his/her grades under your nose while it’s still sniffling from rejection! remember what my pappy always told me: you can pick your nose and your can pick your friends but you can’t pick your friends’ noses!
