grad schools like wide loads

does it matter if you take a full course load (5 courses) or not? ie for post grad entry.

yes and no.
basically, 5 courses a semester is the going rate. it’s normal. but what you choose to do, as far as your course plan goes, is something you will have to explain. so for example, if you take 7 years to do an undergrad, and you haven’t been working or volunteering, then they’ll probably assume you’re a slacker. also, some one who had a rougher course load, may get in over you with lower marks. this isn’t set in stone its just a possibility. think about it.

  • i used to never feel stress

Hello, I am a student at Universit? de Montr?al and I am applying to grad school in counselling psychology (1st choice, McGill). I have a 3.5 GPA, as well as good and relevant work experience. I know you’re not an admission officer (I wish you were) but do you think that 2 class withdrawals will influence my chances of getting in? Neither is an obligatory course.
    Thanks!
