can i appeal my mark if two classes sections are totally unfair in comparison to each other?
um… what the hell can i say? appealing a mark is a very tedious process and generally ends in you going “damn, i just wasted a month of my life for nothing.” but it can be done if enough people bitch.
every now and then you get humped. first of all…it should end up that the two sections will have the same average. my opinion is that this qualifier doesn’t level off the effort required to hit that average. for you my friend, im going to hall out the big guns, because nobody likes to get screwed like that. so let me know who the prof is. also, tell the others to write in so that i have more testimony to complain with.
i’ll start with talking to the department secretary and the prof, and i’ll get her to get back to me pronto. but i need the others to write first. tell them to submit at the page, and that they should include their email so i can get back to them, but tell them I WONT USE THEIR NAME WHEN TALKING TO THE PROF OR SECRETARY IF THEY DO NOT WANT ME TO. I PROMISE.
who the hell knows….maybe we can affect some change. also, if you know anybody in the other section who could offer their honest opinions that may help to contrast the two classes. i’d be pissed too my friend. your situation sucks it.
