If i already taken 6 first year courses can i take a 7th first year course to use it as my social sciences credit? i don’t have a social science. thanks
well yes and no. you can take the courses, and it will count as your breadth requirement, but your won’t be able to use the course as a degree requirement. as i’m sure you know, you’re only allowed to apply 6 full first year credits. you should do 2 things: first, read page 39 of the UfoT calendar. it will suggest some options for you. you should really look at finding a second year course that has no prerequisites that you can use as your social science requirement. and after you get something of a handle on this whole fiasco, go talk to your registrar’s office (on the off chance that i’m wrong).
