just wondering if there are any science courses that would count for my distribution requirement that are drop dead easy. I don’t really care for sciences and desperately want to get this requirement over and done with asap. i know that the university does outline a bunch but they most got crap ratings on the anti calendar. are there any u recommend or based on what you’ve heard. how about ZOO 214??? HELP! i have to register on ROSI in 6 DAYS! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

my god. do calm down with the extended h’s will ya? the answer to your question is the following list of science distribution credits that are rumored to be easy and a list of science distribution credits that you should best avoid.
DO take:
The Sun and Its Neighbors (AST)
The Magic of Physics (summer only) (PHY)
Any first year seminar in the sciences (it’s the best way!) (SCI100)
Plants and Society (BOT)
Cognitive Science (hard but fascinating)
DO NOT take:
PSY100
Any geology classes (they trick by being easy at first…then scary)
Scientific Revolutions (I beg of you!)
really the best way to go about the whole sci. dist. thing is to do the first year seminar. easy, small bullshit classes are way better to deal with then terrible boring classes you are guaranteed to do badly in. a general rule of thumb is that these kinds of classes are almost always easier in the summer, so if you can, learn the magic of physics in july instead of october!
