second year is not ‘second year’

I’m a first year student(computer science)….but then I only finished 2.5
credits……so am I in probation if I didn’t finish 4 full credits at the end
of summer 2007 ?

just for you, the answer will be in binary:

for those of you who don’t speak binary:

probation is a marks thing. you say you didn’t finish a full course load. is that because you failed those courses? if you dropped them, you’re not on probation, you just don’t have that many credits. if you failed and your GPA is really low, you might have to pull your marks up this year or be suspended next year. either way, you’re not considered a second year student and you will register for classes slightly later than other second years. you should probably talk to an academic advisor at your college registrar’s office. cheer up though, your awful first year will make your amazing third year seem even better by comparison.
