I just finished my first year, I did decently, however I failed one course, so I only have 3.5 credits and now have a GPA of 0.95. Do I get to return next year on probation?? Or and I automaticaly suspended so I don’t return to my second year until 2009??

?You are on academic probation.? I?m not congratulating you, but, it happens.? First year can be a misleading tease.? You basically have two semesters to pull yourself up out of that rut, and I wouldn?t recommend being a full time student trying to do that.? This is because you?ll be able to focus more when you have less on your plate.? Too, I say this so you can party, have a job and a chance to watch marathons of Kirsty Alley?s reality TV series Fat Actress all at the same time.? Every August I say to myself: ?this time will be different!? I?ll study more; spend less time out at the bar, and less money on random junk!??and that lasts all of 3 days.? Habits are really hard to break, and you should make it easy on yourself if you?ve received the leather strap from the university. ?If you can?t get yourself out of the probation rut in that full school year, then you?ll have to take a year of suspension before returning to try again.? And, please, please go see your registrar.
