I was accepted to utm for life sciences late march, and I’ve got my final exams in a few days. If i screw up during these exams, and i drop to an 86 average, will that affect my admittance? Also, what are the grade requirements for life sciences at utm??
86 is still pretty respectable.? I wouldn?t get too worked up about it.? However, if your applicant pool is full of people who have 87+ averages and you somehow are drowning at the bottom, then maybe it will.? Though I think it?s pretty safe to say don?t worry about it.? Lastly, I think it?s safe to say that honour roll averages are probably necessary for admittance, however, it again all depends on the intelligence of incoming students for this year and what the standards from the last year were.
But as a side note, I think that Universities know that in your last year of high school you’re bound to slack off and party and have a social life – which is why they take your grades at mid-term.? Everyone who keeps asking me these “exam+grades+admissions” questions chill right out and go out of your high school year with a bang.? You’ll regret getting worked up for really what will probably just?be nothing.? Just don’t fail or anything…? askastudent isn’t telling you it’s okay to fail.? Failing is bad.
