admittance and final marks…

Will U of T consider my final marks at the end of June, or are the midterm marks all they look at for admission? I really want in…but i need a couple more months to pull up my average…….

it sucks and in my opinion is not fair at all, but schools generally only look at mid term grades. somtimes certain people/registrars/colleges take a second gander at final marks, especially for scholarships. if you think that your marks will be drstically different, write a letter to the college registrar that you applied to and explain your situation. calling the difference to their attention may get you in.

also, for residence acceptance, if that is another worry, write a letter to the dean of the residence for which you are being considered. if you have proof for yourself that you are doing better, and that your marks will be higher, write these letters, and try to make yourself an exception to these stupid policies.

cheers,
