Regrets? For Me? Never.

Hi aska~
I have a question about posts~ on the calender it says “to obtain standing…no more than six courses may be 100-series’. What will happen if I take more than 6 100-series course? Because now i’m choosing my posts and i took 5 science courses in the first year. But now i totally regret it and I want to study statistics and east asian studies, and each one requires a first year course. If I take those courses I would have taken 7 100-courses….so what should I do? thanks a lot!

You could take twenty first year courses if you?d like. The only thing about doing that is only the first six can go towards your CGPA. But all credits earned will show up on your transcript and go towards your major/specialist/minor. This is to ensure that you?re not just taking a bunch of first year courses to up your average. Compare it to doing grade one eight times and then graduating to go to high school. If you?re taking two different first year classes next September, I would talk to your registrar about which one will show up on your transcript as first year course number six. Stop regretting your past life decisions. It might even make life easier if the grade doesn?t show up?
