    i’m devastated

Regarding grad gowns, which faculty has which colour? Or is it divided by college?
What if you graduate with double major – one from Faculty of A&S, the other from Faculty of Medicine?

i am in true pain right now

Hi, i have a question about one of the requirements for completion of my
    degree:
    – Two major programs, which must include at least 12 different courses
Do the 12 courses have to make up the 2 majors
    OR
can the course just be ones that CAN be used to make up the major
requirements—as stated by the Degree Navigator:
12 FCEs from “all courses that can be used to meet Major & Minor program
    requirements in this Assessment”—
Also, how accurate is the degree navigator and should i trust it?
If you can clear this up for me i’d greatly appreciate it. Thanks

You Can Stuff Your Sorries in a Sack!

Hi Askastudent,I am a Commerce student. I have a few questions regarding to my November graduation.

I am not doing so well in my program that I only have CGPA of 1.82. In order to graduate, I need at least 1.85. I know that I have to pull up my CGPA. But what would happen if my CGPA is still lower than 1.85?? Can I still graduate?

Another thing is that I am leaving the country by the end of August and I want to take my graduation photo before that. Do you know where and to whom I could contact for graduation photo taking?? Also, after I have taken the graduation photo, is it possible to ask UT to send it to me to the place I live in?? By the way, I live in China.

The last question is that I need to know all my marks before I leave the country. So do you know when is the earliest time I could check my mark on ROSI?? Is it a week after exam? or two weeks? If there is any mistake on the course mark, when is the earliest time I could get it corrected?

By the way, does school close immediately after all summer exams are done??

I am really sorry for leaving you a whole bunch of stupid questions, but I desperately need their answers so…

Many many thanks and I will appreciate for your answers.

    Best,
    Natalie

the site is back, though you might notice that some posts are littered with ‘?’…..i don’t know what these symbols want, only that i’m going to take them out one by one. for now, expect a few of these grammatical land mines, i think they came from bad potato salad or something.

as usual, i like to lace my administration-related posts with some video goodness! here’s something for all you fans of the best band in the world:

Is there any place on the St. George campus that provides a piano for any student to play? I’m not a student of the faculty of music, nor am I living in any on-campus residence, where there are music practise rooms for residences. I just want to play the piano when I have spare time on the campus. Do you have any suggestion?
    Thank you!!!
