is a 1.7 gpa a 60% minimum?
is a 1.7 gpa a 60% minimum?
I’ve had a lot of family issues going on lately and have fallen behin with a lot of stuff. I’m currently on academic probation for making some mistakes last year and I know that I was wondering:
a) what is the average I need to have this semester to be able to continue on at school in the fall?
b) I am only taking one course right now, if I drop it as well and therefore have no courses done this year can I continue in the summer and fall of 2009?
hi! i hope you have time to asnwer my question.! you seem so busy answering all these questions.!!!
anyway..mine is that.how many courses can i take without enrolling in subjects posts… i wil have only 1 and half credits
at the end of this season ..and can’t take summer courses..
so im planning to take more courses in 2009-2010 season..
because i haven’t decided what i will study( major)…i want to take at least 4 more courses next fall and winter season as first year student……
so…how many more i can take next fall/winter season and
another question is about cgpa…. some progrms say i need 2.0 cgpa …. so…if i take 6 courses as a first year student..then..when i apply my subject post(2)…
they will see all my courses’s average or just 4courses??
thanks! and i hope i didn’t confuse you!!!!! thanks!
?
hey.. I am currently in second year. I was on probation and this semester i pulled up my gpa to 1.88 but the problem is that i did not take one final exam. the make up is in feb. I want to know if i will be assessed after taking that final exam or anytime soon as i have completed 4 utm credits now. secondly it says on the site that if you were on probation and deferred an exam you will not be able to enroll in courses unless your status is decided. Although my GPA is above the required GPA and i have also completed 4 credits, i am afraid they will drop me out of all courses as my status is still blank on rosi. Like will i have to waste on semester because of this deferral? t says that students are assessed as soon as they complete 4 utm credits and then i also read about not being allowed to enroll in courses unless you have settled your deferral.
I also wanted to know that utm students are allowed to enroll in courses downtown after completing 4 credits. but what is the minimum GPA requirement for that.? Please help me out i am really confused. Thank you
Say you fuck up majorly in your first two years of university, and do quite well (B+/A average) in your last two years, would grad schools still consider you a worthless pile of crap?
well…. my marks are out & in one of my courses I got a 79/100 which as a grade is a B+, whats pisses me off (mmm a litlle) is that for one more mark I would get an A- instead of a B+ which inturn will boost my GPA by a 0.08/4 (something for me to brag about). can that be done? registrar…. prof???
????
thank uuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Dear studentIask….(haha),
I am in dire need of your genius!! I am in my second year but technically my first year credit-wise and my cGPA is 1.0 right now because I only took 2 credits worth last year and I failed two half-credit courses. If one of the credits (MGT120H1) is in the commerce department, will it carry over into my now Arts and Science degree? I’m now in psychology so does the faculty change matter cGPA and credit wise?
Dear Aska,
I REALLY screwed up last year and failed two courses (1.5 credits) and barely passed the rest. I also failed two summer courses right after. This one year REALLY screwed up my GPA. But I’ve been getting As and Bs since. I have no real reason for failing besides my existential crisis which I don’t think counts as a real reason so I can’t say it was medical. I heard somewhere that it’s possible to drop those failed courses as long as you agree to drop all of the other courses you took in that year from your record too (even if you passed the others). Is that true? And if it is, how would I go about doing that? Is there ANYTHING I can do? PLEEEEASE HELP!!!!!!
Hi
I am looking for clarification on GPA’s and marks.? Most sources just give a few GPA numbers then a range, and it jumps from 2.3, next? 2.7, next 3.0 and so on.
My GPA is 2.47. What mark (as in percentage) does this equal.? I know it’s a c+ or whatever but I’d like to know the actual number.
Thanks
?
