beware of innis residence, first years…

Advice to new first years. Don’t apply to innis residence. You don’t meet as many people in innis because it is apartment style versus the traditional dorm style. Innis is full of snobby fake people. Since innis picks its returning residents by student survey it’s a big popularity contest. Sure they say that student involvement is a criteria but you will see lots of people who get in because of who they know not what they do. If you do apply to innis residence and get in first year, be prepared to be fake and to suck up to the big people to get back in. This is one of the reasons i didn’t apply to get back in.

i want to live in a toilet bowl

Okay,i’ve been browsing the sites, but still need to know about
    something very important: BATHROOMS!
As a first year student, would there be any residences where i wouldn’t have to share a bathroom with a whole floor? i don’t care how many roomates i have, i
just don’t want to walk far to take a pee…..It doesn’t have to be a suite, just semi-private bathrooms… Also, what residence have the best light meal plans? (not a gazillion meals a
    week for a gazillion dollars….)
Last note: what’s with U of T barely accepting AP credits? Huh?
    Thanks for allllll your help!

    bring your own toilet seat

Okay, which residence does NOT have communial bathrooms?!! I can’t decide which college and residence to pick and I want a single room and a bathroom that isn’t shared with 40 people dammit!!!! (besides Innis…)
BTW, how hard is it to get back into Innis residence in your second year? (A question from another person)
    THANK YOU KINDLY!

engineers sticking with their own kind

Hi. I know you’re sick of answering college questions, but I have some. Which college do most engineering students attend? I want to do engineering, but I don’t want to be stuck in a rez with no other engineering students around. Is there a certain college with a prominent number of engineering students or do all colleges have an equal mix of students from all faculties? New college looks like it’s located the closest to the engineering area but you mentioned in one of your previous posts that most phys ed students are at nc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
