don’t let the residence stress you out any further!

I was wondering how you get back into the Innis Residence. I have been accepted into rez next year, but people have told me that the re-application process is a SURVIVOR-style popularity contest. I intend to participate in residence life. but I am in University to get my education first and foremost. Am I going to get my butt kicked to the curb come second year?

id what i meant and i meant what i said: a housing word is 100 percent!

    help!
Since Innis did not accept me into their residence, and I cannot afford living in the Primrose, I would need to find a place to stay after school starts. Do I have the option of applying for another college for residence now? IT seems too late to me. So can someone help me out by sharing some sites on accomodation? Or does anybody know a good place to rent with a reasonable price and a location that’s near the campus ?

    i live in a….house???

I was just on the innis res website and there was a link to these crazy things called “houses” with names like vladimir, devo and north house. What are these houses all about? For example, do the members of Devo house run around wearing yellow jumpsuits and wearing plastic bowls on their head yelling “whip it!”?? Are all vladimirians gother-than-thou? Perhaps it’s all those OAC exams, but I just don’t get it.

the divide that separates the innis rez from all the rest…and how to traverse it successfully

Do first year students planning on attending University of Toronto who
live out of the Toronto receive priority with the residence of their
choice? My overall average is 3% higher than last year’s minimum grade
requirement for Humanities and Social Sciences, do I have a good chance
of being accepted into Innis Residence? Is there an option on the Innis
Residence Application form to request to share a room with a friend?
Can a student who has been accepted to Trinity College live in Innis
    Residence?

Thank you for taking the time to read and answer my questions. I hope
to hear from you soon! Thank you!!

    studying cinema at the UofT

Hiya, I’m interested in studying film (not making film yet) and I’m looking into the Cinema Studies course. Would you recommend this course and if so, what kind of marks will I need to get in coming out of high school?
    thanks a million

    first-hand advice and second-hand furniture

How accurate is the suite depiction of the ‘typical’ suite? Is there any false advertising going on there? And, what comes with the suite? Like.. what were you maybe suprised to have overlooked when you moved in and realized that you had to provide it yourself? Plus, feel free to include any rants/opinions you have on the subject, if you have any. I’d like a students opinion to go along with all the official (biased) Innis promotions.

    Thanks for all your help!

    innis really can rock out….really!

hey i m a responsible partier and very social and fun, i got accepted in to Innis but i’ve been reading on ur site that it is sort of a college for nerds and shyt. So does that mean that they don’t get crazy and have social lives to me univerity is all about having a great balance of social life and good marks will i be doomed at innis and stuck with lifeless nerds?!? SOS please say that this isn’t so and that innis is the best college:(

swedish student and frosh week go head to head…

I’ve applied to Innis, I think I’m gonna get in… now, coming all the way from Sweden, I won’t know a single person in Toronto. I’ve been told most people get their social life started during frosh week. What if you don’t care much for being wasted and partaking in kindergarten like activities? In high school there really was no option if you wanted to make friends, but you’d think people might have, ahem, grown a bit in time for university? I mean, there should be some kind of stage between the math club and food fights.

    did you see these photos!

why does everyone look so bad in the photos of the innis formal. Was it that they were trying to look bad only in the photos, so that people who didn’t go can’t appriciate how good it was from looking at the photos? Or can they not help it? Just curious…
