Hi, I’m a prospective U of T student. I was wondering whether it’s possible to do a specialist program AND a major program. I really want to do a Modern Languages specialist (Spanish and Portuguese, 14 courses) and an English major (7 courses). Is this allowed? Or would they consider this a triple major and not permit it? Also, how many courses may a first year student take, maximum?

mark hard. play hard.
Do U of T profs mark harder than other schools?
-
no, because everyone drinks in math class
Is MAT135Y a review of OAC Calculus? If I didn’t do well in OAC Calc, will I be overwhelmed in that class?
hey, -
if JFK took powernaps, then I will take powernaps!
Is it possible to manage:
– 6 full courses (17 hours of classes/week)
– job (17 hours/week)
– sport (appr. 5 hours/week)
– many, many, many extracurricular activities (time involvement impossible to estimate)
– a bit of volunteering (from time to time, nothing stable)
and:Have an A average??? I really really need to know!

economics is easy like ninja gaiden is easy
What are some easy Economics 300 level courses? I’ve tried asking but I get answers that seem like the person is unsure.

third year is the best year
i was wondering if courses are significantly more difficult in 3rd year than in second year. i’m a 2nd year student and was thinking about taking a part time job now but i would have to keep working there for at least 2 years. is third year a lot harder or will i be ok. i have a 3.1 GPA right now and i’m majoring in psychology with a minor in sociology. thank you.
