a very short question!!
is it possible to travel from

should i change my courses???
So I just finished selecting courses and looked at the campus map to see where
the classes will be held and I found something gross. I saw on the timetable
1st year German courses with place indicator “East” so I thought it was great,
and put it at 12. At 11, I have ECO100Y1. Now, Eco is at Isabel Bader Theatre
and Ger is at Sidney Smith Hall.. isn’t SS on St.George St.. since when is the
street in the east side of the campus.. the worse is I have MAT at 10, at MP.
So my question is, is it really possible to go to BT from MP within 10
minutes.. and what about from BT to SS within also 10 minutes.. i dont want to
be running around all over the campus like a mad cow after every class unless
there are people who do the same thing.. should i make some changes?
Yo aska
What are the hours of the JCR, is it always open?
My friend and I are looking for some study space, something with a WINDOW where we can talk, good lighting, that’s kind of secluded, with a desk and a table, and possibly comfy chairs.
Does such a place exist?
We’ve looked into Hart House, the Map Room, but the chairs were too comfortable. Can you recommend some nice study space that isn’t too prison-like? (WINDOWS PLEASE!)
hello! i love ur comments and ur advice is awesome 🙂 i am just wondering what r the odds of getting a job on campus if i will be in first year in the fall? i am pretty flexible, i’ll work anywhere (cafe, library etc). is it worth it to volunteer while in university? can it enhance an application to law school or into a graduate program??? what r ur thoughts oh wise askastudent guru? thanks a million
by popular demand (one email), here’s where askastudent answers 10 questions in 10 words or less. let’s rock this!
is it possible to make it from east campus to west campus in 10 minutes? I’m trying to decide whether or not to schedule back to back classes. I’d like to keep my pace below a jog.
P.S. how do i get a date with you askastudent boy?
So, I’m a student of the Scarb Campus and to tell the truth, it’s not a fun and cool as the downtown campus. So I guess my question is…how do I go about transfering to the St.George Campus? Do I have to apply all over again.
aska: i have been corrected. i can’t vouch for this but apparently it’s true…
Mistake: there are TONS of lockers for students on the campus!!
You can get them from ASSU at SS, and/or at most colleges.
