Hey im a first year going into second, and im taking Life Science H&D spec and a
psych major. the courses that i’ve chosen so far add up to 17 or so credits,
since a few of them overlap. i want to take more courses in psychology, but i
already filled up the max 7.5 credits for the psych major. can i take more
psych courses or do i have to choose other courses?

law and order
Hey Askastudent!!! i love this site, its totally hilarious and informative at
the same time =)I was just wondering what you’ve heard of the law program at UofT. How hard is
it to get in? I am considering completing a specialist in criminology, then
doing a masters in crim, then law school… i hope!My gpa in first year was 3.6. I haven’t been volunteering, nor have I joined
any extra curricular clubs in my first year.In your opinion, would joining a club or two and volunteering help in spice up
my application for a masters program/law school?thanks a million

reading books will get you nowhere
i’m so sorry to ask a POSt question, really. but i’m going to anyway.
say i’ve been admitted to a type 2 POSt with a GPA requirement. if, in
subsequent years, my GPA falls below the requirement, do i get kicked out of my
post? i really don’t wanna specialize in english, man. -
more proof that UofT= try hards
Can you be enrolled in 2 specialist programs??
-
pick a PoST, not your nose
Hey aska
I’m in first year and I’m totally failing 3 courses; I only have 4.
Let’s say I miraculously pull off a B average by the end of the year.
Can I get into any good post? -
the lamest askastudent dialogue EVER
hey aska, in order to do an english major, do i HAVE to take ENG201 or ENG202 in first year along with my 100-series course, or can i take 202 in second year after i’ve completed the first year course? i thought i had my timetable worked out wonderfully, since english is a type 1 POSt, but i’ve been reading around on the internet and people are saying its a big mistake not to take 201 or 202 in first year…. help!

give it to me hard, euripides!
if ur enrolled in a specific post (like classics or something), do u HAVE TO take classic courses come second year? or can i take basically anything OTHER THAN classics and just use that as a stepping stone for another post that i want? and i’ve also completed 2 half classic courses this summer and i guess that would count for that ost (classics), so do i still have to take classic courses come second year? or will ROSI acknowledge that i’ve taken the 2 classic courses in the summer and let me take anything other than classics? sorry if this is confusing! =)

art, the most confusing program in the university 2: the revenge of the subject post…
I have another question!
I don’t really understand the concept of Subject POSt’s.
When the time comes to choose one, whats the process? I know there is a place to chose one on rosi, and then I know you must get approval, but how does that all work?
I have a problem! I just found out I need a 70% in two classes to get into the program I want. (Visual Studies) I don’t remember ever reading that before, it doesn’t seem fair! Thats higher than so many other programs. Now lets say I don’t get those marks, then pretty much I’m screwed. Lets just say I come close…68% say, is there anyone I can look sad in front of to change it!?? (I’m guessing no eh?) -
a good question about communications with an unfortunate answer…this has been revised to include new not as unfortunate information
i was wondering if this colege specifically offeres a communication studies program for a bachelors degree in english??
